VALORANT Chamber Agent: Release Date, Abilities Breakdown, Storyline And More Details

Riot Games recently revealed all the details about the upcoming Sentinel Agent who will arrive two weeks into VALORANT Episode 3 Act 3. Chamber, codenamed Deadeye, will focus on mechanical outplays and will have an intriguing relationship with all the other Agents in the game.

The official description for Chamber states: Well dressed and well-armed, French weapons designer Chamber expels aggressors with deadly precision. He leverages his custom arsenal to hold the line and pick off enemies from afar, with a contingency built for every plan.

VALORANT Episode 3 Act 3: Chamber Ability Breakdown

Chamber is an Agent who is prepared for every situation with his tactical abilities. All of his abilities are designed to create spaces for clip-worthy mechanical outplays. Chamber always has a trick up his sleeve and a plan B for everything.

On paper, the new Agent sounds like a person who carries an umbrella, expecting precipitous rain. His toolkit consists of various abilities, which on the surface, looks like a combination of utilities from other Agents.

Abilities:

(C) Trademark

PLACE a trap that scans for enemies. When a visible enemy comes in range, the trap counts down and then destabilizes the terrain around them, creating a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.

(Q) Headhunter

ACTIVATE to equip a heavy pistol. ALT FIRE with the pistol equipped to aim down sights.

(E) Rendezvous (Signature)

PLACE two teleport anchors. While on the ground and in range of an anchor, REACTIVATE to quickly teleport to the other anchor. Anchors can be picked up to be REDEPLOYED.

(X) Tour de Force (Ultimate)

ACTIVATE to summon a powerful, custom sniper rifle that will kill an enemy with any direct hit. Killing an enemy creates a lingering field that slows players caught inside of it.

VALORANT: Chamber Release Date And Storyline Significance

Chamber is scheduled to release in VALORANT Episode 3 Act 3 with Patch 3.10 update. This will be two weeks after players have started exploring Act 3. The developers informed that the Agent was delayed for finishing touches and that they want to make sure everything makes sense with the Chamber's release.

As for Chamber's significance in VALORANT's storyline, fans will have to wait for the official voice line to be added in the game. The playercards for the Agent will add context to Chamber's origins in the VALORANT universe.

Community expert Cynprel speculated that Chamber may have some past relationship with Astra, since both of them use Astral technology.

In the official trailer, we can see how Chamber meets Brimstone and almost freezes him in time. Towards the end, he releases Brim and they strike an accord, thus adding Chamber to the VALORANT Protocol. It will be interesting to see how the story unfolds once the Agent arrives in-game.
