Valheim: How To Get Flint

Valheim is a brand new early access title, centred around all things Viking!

The game is only in early development and is already full of loads of fun content.

If you're wondering whether it's worth it, ask the many players who have gotten it to the top of the Steam charts in less than a week since launch!

There's plenty to do, one of the focal points being building.

To do so you'll have to collect a bunch of resources.

One of which happens to be flint!

It may not be abundantly clear at first how to get it so we'll tell you.

Keep reading to find out where to find it and what you'll need to acquire it.

How To Get Flint

Flint appear similar to that of a stone.

You wont find it near your spawn point.

It can be identified by its colour and location.

Check near a river or the sea, it'll be white.

It should be on the banks of the water or may slightly be submerged.

Once you had it you can put it towards crafting.

You will see it either near the water or inside the water as shown in the image below.

Once you have enough flint, you can craft other items.

Some of the useful items it can be put towards include:

• Flint axe
• Flinthead arrow
• Flint knife
• Flint spear

Valheim is the next Viking title to take Steam by storm, there are plenty of plans for the future with the 2021 roadmap. You can even set up a dedicated server and play with your friends in coop! If bosses interest you, there's already four in the game Eikthyr, the Elder, Bonemass and Modor, you'll require plenty of items along the way like the Swamp Key.
