Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2, the remastered pairing of the Birdman's first two virtual outings, is out now.

Part of the remaster's charm is the inclusion of a variety of classic challenges, including one in Philadelphia that requires you to drain a fountain.

It's easier than you might think, you just need to know how.

Luckily, we've got the answer.

THPS 1 + 2: How To Drain The Fountain

When starting a run in the Philadelphia level, keep your eyes peeled for a balcony on your right.

You'll need to hop up there, which leads to a staircase.

Grind down those, and you'll see a series of valves.

Then you'll just need to skate over them to start draining the fountain.

When you've skated over them, water will start shooting out and the challenge will be complete.

Once the fountain is drained, you'll be able to skate in it, too, opening up a new grind rail in the middle.

You'll also tick off another objective towards unlocking your next level!
