New The Witcher 3 Mod Uses AI To Create Original Voice Lines For Geralt Without His Voice Actor

As part of this, A Night To Remember features a surprising replication of Geralt's voice. Now, it's hardly strange that Geralt's voice actor, Doug Cockle, hasn't returned here, but rather than use another voice actor, Doug's been replaced with AI tech called Cybervoice, replicating Geralt's iconic speech to a high degree.

Though CyberVoice don't specify how their technology works, this is comparable to using a deep fake, and raises questions about the use of someone's image. You can check out the trailer above to see how it turned out.
