The Forest: how to make rope - crafting recipe and materials

You'll likely need Rope to use in a lot of your recipes for crafting. It can be pretty difficult to find at times but you can always make some too. Keep reading our guide to find out where you can get some Rope, including the recipe to make it.

Finding rope

One of the main ways to find rope is at cannibal camps. Be aware of your surrounding when visiting the camps as you may get attacked while there. There should be plenty of rope around the area. Otherwise, you can find the Yacht in the ocean and grab the rope off of it.

How to make rope

You may not want to head to the cannibal's base and that's fine. Luckily you can make rope. Although this will set you back 7 Cloth and you'll receive 1 Rope.

You can combine the Cloth by right-clicking all 7 in your backpack, then click on the cogwheel to craft it. You can find cloth in suitcases and at cannibal camps.

Unfortunately, you can't craft cloth so you'll need to collect it. Only use cloth if it's a necessity!
