It also appears that the game will be available for preorder soon, with the post stating it'll be available today - although at the time of writing, no further announcement has been made.

According to a rough translation, the Weibo post says that The Ascent "is an action role-playing game created by Unreal Engine with both single-player mode and multiplayer online cooperation (PvE)."

It also says that the game will launch on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC (and presumably Series S) on July 29, as well as Xbox Game Pass which Microsoft previously confirmed when the title was revealed last year.

The game had been slated for a 2020 release but was delayed, and is in development at Neon Giant, a new team with industry veterans that have worked on major franchises like Gears of War.
