Though it only launched for PC and Xbox systems, a PS5 launch has been questioned. While The Ascent's Twitter page didn't explicitly confirm a release on Sony's console, it didn't rule out such plans either, informing fans to stay tuned for updates.

The Ascent’s Developers Are “Aware of the Demand” for PS5 Release

Publisher, Curve Digital has responded to PS5 queries, stating that the team is "aware" of demands. While this isn't confirmation of a PS5 release, it does give hope to fans that a release could arrive on the next-gen system.


Curve Digital and Xbox currently have an exclusivity deal, so a PS5 version could be distributed after the agreement ends. At the moment, that's all speculative, but we'll inform you if a PlayStation edition gets announced.
