After a fantastic Facebook Connect event on 28th October, which showcased some lofty ambitions for the metaverse, many of us looking forward to an Oculus Quest 3 release date or more information on the Quest Pro were left waiting.

However, it appears that the latest leak may have given us the preview we wished we had at the event...if it is what it says it is.

As always, these aren't confirmed, so be sure to take them with a pinch of salt.

Oculus Quest Pro Leak

The latest leak is somewhat confusing on the surface, but apparently shoes the Oculus Quest Pro's headset, controllers, and textures.

Now this is not the 'real thing', but rather a mockup by the looks of it, and doesn't give us a whole lot to work with.

There are, however, a few features that stand out - namely the visor and textures.

The visor almost appears to have a reflective surface, sort of akin to a ski-mask / Masterchief's visor.

You can also spot some interesting textures on some of the panels, which could give a bit of new look to the next iteration.

But asides from that, the images look a little like when you ask an AI to paint the Mona Lisa...confusing and somewhat harrowing.

When Could We See The Next Leak?

We've seen alleged video tutorials for the Quest Pro recently, so we wouldn't be surprised if we catch something else sooner rather than later.

What we really want to know is when we can expect the next Quest, what sort of specs it has, and also the price.

For now, we'll just have to be content with the fact that GTA San Andreas is in development for Quest 2.

We'll be back with you soon with all the latest on the Oculus Quest Pro.
