Tales Of Arise Producer Confirms No Story DLC Is Planned

Tales of Arise producer Yusuke Tomizawa has confirmed the game won't get any story DLC after its release. Speaking during an online event last week, that provided additional details about the game's side activities, skits, and DLC costumes. As part of that, Tomizawa revealed this new information.

As such, Bandai Namco are considering this to be the "complete experience" with no prequel or sequel content. While they've released direct sequels before - Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World and Tales of Xillia 2 being two examples - the only game that received story DLC was Tales of Zestiria.

This announcement follows on from "The Spirit of Adventure" trailer last week, which showcased one of the game's newest features, farming. Between a livestock menu, stables and a cooking system, you can watch that below.

Otherwise, we've not got too long until Tales of Arise launches on September 10th. Launching on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One, we advised "it looks really promising" during our preview in June, and you can read more of that here.
