Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Is Getting One Last Update

Last month brought us our last major update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Announcing that Sora from Kingdom Hearts would mark the final DLC character three years after launching, it appeared Nintendo were done with their platform brawler.

However, they've just confirmed one final update is "coming soon," which includes the "final fighter adjustments." Calling this Version 13.0.1, this won't bring any major new additions, but is likely designed to balance the roster following Sora's inclusion.

As seen below, this also means that any replay data from previous versions will be incompatible in Version 13.0.1. As such, if you wish to retain these, you'll need to convert them to video within the Vault first.

Version 13 originally brought significant new additions to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Alongside Sora's DLC, we had two new Mii Fighter costumes from Splatoon - Judd (Hat) and Octoling (Wig) - alongside the Doom Slayer. The reveal presentation also confirmed that Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and III were coming to Switch via Cloud Editions.
