The main event at Kumite 2021 London was the Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition Bracket, featuring 14 invited players and the winner and runner-up of the qualifying tournament. The Street Fighter Kumite this year also featured another fighting game that many participants were eager to play. On the first day of the event, Guilty Gear Strive displayed a set of exhibition matches. It was a highlight of the tournament and worth rewatching.

Participants in Kumite 2021 Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition were split up into four groups, with four players each competing in a round-robin format. The top two finishers in each group then advance to a single-elimination bracket to determine the winner.
