Tattooed streamer TimTheTatman has teamed up with GameSquare Esports to host a two-day event in Texas next month.

The event, called TimTheTatman’s Tailgate, is set to take place at The Star in Frisco, Texas over the course of July 16 and 17. It will offer fans a litany of activities and events involving everything from gaming to music.

Naturally, headlining the festivities is a $100k Fortnite zero build tournament, something which TimTheTatman is no stranger to, having recently competed in Dr Disrespect’s ‘Hot Shot Duo Drop’ event.

Streamer’s Event Will Feature $100K Fortnite Tournament Plus Much More

In a press release about the event, TimTheTatman, real name Timothy Betar, said: “This is going to be an unforgettable experience for the Tatman Army, GameSquare is pulling out all the stops to deliver a weekend of gaming, music, and sports. You won’t want to miss this.”

In terms of what isn’t to be missed, aside from the aforementioned Fortnite tournament, which will be open to 300 ticket holders and streamed live on TimTheTatman’s YouTube channel, there will also be a $15k ‘Tim Pong’ tournament to compete in and a chance for you to have your picture taken in TimTheTatman’s streaming room.

If you fancy a break from all of the gaming goodness, don’t fret either, as a car show, featuring “an assortment of trucks, sports cars, and more” will be taking place, along with activities offering you the chance to play some giant Jenga or have a go at nailing an NFL field goal.

Also on the schedule are a smorgasbord of musical performances from the likes of country music stars Kane Brown and Mitchell Tenpenny, DJ Arty and Tool tribute band Schism.

Speaking about his inclusion in the event, Brown said: “I love gaming and music, and Tim’s event brings those two things together. I’m excited to be a part of it.”

Justin Kenna, the CEO of GameSquare Esports, added: “Tapping into the synergies of gaming and pop culture, the Tailgate will give attendees an unparalleled way to connect with Tim and with each other.”

The event will also feature a range of influencer meet and greets, including cameos from Dennis 'Cloakzy' Lepore and the Baka Bros.

Tickets can be purchased via the event’s website, where you can also find more information about what it'll involve.
