Influencer boxing matches have become a regular occurrence over the past few years, with the likes of KSI and Logan Paul’s pugilistic efforts inspiring scores of other content creators to pick up a pair of gloves and start throwing jabs.

Now, it seems that popular streamer Dr Disrespect is being invited to join the fray, following a call out by YouTube Channel Epic Meal Time’s Harley Morenstein.

Morenstein’s challenge to the self-styled Two-Time came at the conclusion of the YouTuber’s victory over the Game Grumps' Arin Hanson at Creator Clash, a boxing event organised by fellow YouTuber iDubbbz.

Speaking in his post-fight interview, Morenstein said: “I only used twenty percent of my abilities. I would like to exercise the remaining eighty percent, I want to fight someone bigger, I want them to know it’s going down. The Doc.”

The YouTuber then launched into a slew of heated trash talk towards the streamer, adding: “Doc, I’m talking to you. I’m 6’6″. You think you’re tall? You think you’re Two-Time? This ain’t a game, boy, and let me tell you something, that bulletproof vest you wear ain’t gonna stop these guns.”

Dr Disrespect, real name Herschel Beahm, is seemingly yet to respond to Morenstein throwing down the gauntlet.

During the post-fight interview, Morenstein also gave props to his opponent, Hanson, for stepping up to fight him.

Beahm has also made the news recently as a result of his game studio, Midnight Society, adding a number of industry veterans to its team, including Alex Fennell and James Gray.

Midnight Society has also hit the headlines for more controversial reasons recently, making NFT minting history despite many prospective players on social media declaring a desire for the studio’s upcoming game to refrain from including NFT elements.

Dr Disrespect has also recently tweeted about his frustrations with YouTube Gaming over the alleged lack of support it offers creators, with some fans encouraging him to jump to another platform.
