Heart Events
2 Hearts: Head to the beach, on a sunny day during summer. You will see Alex playing with a grid ball. He tells you he's going to become a professional athlete.
4 Hearts: Go to town, from 9 am to 4 pm. Alex will be talking to his dog, Dusty. He'll talk to you about his father, who was an alcoholic and abused Alex. You'll also find out that his mother passed away. He'll then offer to show you what tricks Dusty knows.
5 Hearts: Go to Alex’s house. He tells you he hasn't read a single book from his bookcase, and he feels worthless because of it. Tell him we all have our negatives and positives, this will give you 50 friendship points.
6 Hearts: Head to Alex's house again. He will apologise to you for being rude sometimes, and tell you that he appreciates your support.
8 Hearts: Go to the beach in the summer. Alex will tell you his mother died on this day, twelve years ago. He'll then play a song associated with her.
10 Hearts: You'll receive a letter from Alex, in which he invites you to the Saloon, from 7 pm to 10 pm. Gus plays the violin for you. Alex will confess that he liked you from the first time you met, and his feelings keep getting stronger.
Group 10 Hearts: If you're unmarried and you've given a bouquet to all available bachelors and seen each bachelor's 10-heart event, then walking into The Stardrop Saloon will trigger a cutscene. If you have a rabbit's foot in your inventory, the cutscene will just be a friendly game of pool between everyone. If you do not have a rabbit's foot, all bachelors will express their upset about you dating them all at the same time. You'll get the 'cold shoulder' from every bachelor for about a week after the event, but after a week the bachelors will forgive you, and dialogues return to normal.
14 Hearts: Exit the farmhouse after year 2 on any day other than a Sunday, between 6 am and 8:20 am, with at least 5,000g available. Alex will stop you and ask for the 5,000g for a 'secret project'. He tells you it'll be ready on Sunday. Part 2 of this heart event will occur when you enter the Saloon. Alex has created a grid ball game room in the back of the saloon, and while his dreams of becoming a pro were never realised (though he's much happier now), this is his small way of realising it.
Married life after you've romanced Alex
Once you've married Alex, he will move into your farmhouse. His room will be attached to the bedroom, and the area behind the house becomes his weightlifting station. Like with other eligible marriage candidates, once you're spouses, Alex will offer you gifts. Below is a list of gifts you can expect from your jock husband.
