Star Wars: The Old Republic - Legacy Of The Sith Delayed Until Early 2022

BioWare announced last month that Star Wars: The Old Republic's latest expansion, known as Legacy of the Sith, would arrive this month. However, that's now changed as the developer's revealed it'll be delayed until early next year.

Sharing the news through their latest blog post, BioWare stated this expansion will now launch on February 15, 2022. That's two months later than Legacy of the Sith's original release date, which was scheduled for December 14th, 2021.

Project Director Kenneth Kannag mentioned they need more time to finish the expansion. Part of his statement confirms:

"Legacy of the Sith is something the team has been hard at work on for quite a while but as we get ever closer to launch, it is clear that we need a bit more time. We’re focusing additional testing on the many areas we have changed throughout the game to deliver the experience we want, and one that you deserve."
