Star Wars Will Not Make An Appearance At EA Play Live

All you Wookiees and Droids will have to wait a little longer because EA has confirmed that no Star Wars projects will be announced or showcased at next week's EA Play Live.

In the official tweet, fans have highlighted the significance of "celebrating", hinting that Star Wars Celebration in May 2022 could be a platform to announce the new EA projects.

There have also been rumours of a Jedi Fallen Order sequel and its supposed launch in 2022/2023 so an announcement could even come later this year.

But fear not Jedi - Star Wars fans can still get their gaming fix through LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, still due to release this year following numerous delays. While The Legacy of the Sith expansion is coming to The Old Republic this holiday season.

The Star Wars brand is no longer exclusive to EA, with Ubisoft working on an open-world MMO based on the space opera.
