Respawn Hires Former Halo Infinite Multiplayer Designer for New Star Wars Title

Respawn Entertainment has added Patrick Wren, one of the lead designers for Halo Infinite's multiplayer mode, to its roster of creatives. Wren will be working on Respawn's upcoming Star Wars game, which may or may not be a sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order.

Wren shared the news on his official Twitter account, where he described his new position: the Senior Encounter Designer for Respawn's unnamed Star Wars title.

Though the exact Star Wars game he's involved in wasn't specified, speculated points to another Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, after EA said Fallen Order is a "part of a franchise" during the company's earnings call in May.


Whatever it is, it's just one of many Star Wars games in development. Disney teased a potential game reveal taking place on December 14 as part of the company's new product campaign, and Ubisoft is developing a new game as well. There's even a possible Mandalorian game in the works, though the leaks for that were a bit suspicious.
