The Book of Boba Fett Finale Reunites Two Major Characters

The penultimate episode placed Grogu (aka. Baby Yoda) in a difficult position: choose to continue his training, but withdraw attachment to Din Djarin, or return to the Mandalorian all the while hindering further Jedi teachings. The final episode reveals Grogu's decision, in which The Child chooses to return to the Mandalorian.

Amidst an action-packed assault against Boba and co., Peli Motto took Grogu to Mando allowing the two to meet in a tender and warm embrace. With the duo together again, we expect Season 3 of The Mandalorian to further their relationship.

It's somewhat surprising that the outcome of episode 7's cliffhanger was revealed. Personally, I thought The Mandalorian would continue Djarin's story and his training with the Darksaber, followed by an eventual meet-up.

But it's clear that Mando and Baby Yoda's attachment is very strong and incredibly difficult to stifle.

Despite The Book of Boba Fett ending, 2022 is taking us to a galaxy far, far away. Andor is still coming, along with another season even before its premiere. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka are also in development, further cementing Disney+ as the home of Star Wars right now.
