The next Amy Hennig game is in production, and it’s not just Hennig involved. Film and TV writer Todd Stashwick announced the as-yet-untitled action-adventure project on Twitter and called for a new senior animator and Unreal engineers.

This would be Stashwick’s first completed game writing project, but not his first foray into gaming.

He and Hennig first collaborated on Visceral’s “Project Ragtag” Star Wars game that EA cancelled.

Stashwick also mentioned he and Hennig are working with “a core team of industry vets,” but named no names.

There’s no indication the new Amy Hennig game will be a Star Wars game, but there’s also nothing saying it won’t be.

The Unreal engineer job description mentions the applicant would be “making top-tier, high-quality interactive experiences with the best IP in the world.”

So far, Skydance’s games, or “interactive,” portfolio includes only The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners and Archangel: Hellfire, so there’s not much to go on for what these other world-class IP might be.

Still, with rumors swirling about Knights of the Old Republic remakes and sequels, plus Skydance being an independent studio, there’s nothing holding Hennig and Stashwick back from pursuing a project related to the Ragtag Star Wars game.
