Spider-Man 4 Will Reportedly Introduce Miles Morales

With Spider-Man: No Way Home closing one trilogy, many have wondered what’s next for the web-slinging do-gooder. While there's no confirmation about his next adventure, there are some indications the next solo film could be heading in a unique direction.

A new rumour (via ViewerAnon) claims that Tom Holland’s hero will be joined by another Spider-Man, Miles Morales. The two characters are expected to bond over the film, laying the foundation for Morales’ future in the MCU -- and likely tying in conveniently with the new Insomniac Spider-Man game.

Spider-Man 4 Is Rumoured To Introduce Miles Morales

Miles Morales might make his first live-action appearance, interweaving in Peter Parker’s journey for the fourth film’s story.

Based on the description, the premise seems somewhat similar to Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man, which was released in 2018. The game also introduced Miles while establishing a strong relationship with that universe’s seasoned Peter Parker, before Miles received his own game when the PS5 launched.

This wouldn’t be the first big-screen depiction of the beloved character, as the Academy Award-winning Into the Spider-verse also featured the young hero. Its sequel, Across the Spider-verse - Part One, is due to release in 2022 and is expected to feature unique art styles for each dimension.

Of course, this report remains a rumour for now, so take it with the usual grain of salt.

Spider-Man fever continues to run high, as another story claims that Tobey Maguire’s version is due to pop up in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, While Andrew Garfield has also responded to whispers of The Amazing Spider-Man 3 being rejuvenated.
