Sonic 2022 Leaves Fans Excited After a Surprise Teaser During Sonic Central


During Sonic Central, Sega revealed a whole list of upcoming games and events fans of the franchise can expect in the near future.

To end the day, Takashi Iizuka said he has one more announcement to end the event, where a teaser of an upcoming game was shown which features Sonic running through a forest in an HD 3D environment.

Many fan theories are out there, with many believing the logo Sonic is leaving behind as he ran is some sort of hint or name of the game.

Players are believing that the hint left behind spells out "Zap", and it could have some more meaning behind the game.

We will have to wait a bit longer to hear more information as Sega has not released anything else about this project, besides the fact we know a new game is in the works.

Other highlights during the live premiere featured a remastered version of Sonic Colors, a 2010 release originally designed for the Wii, and Sonic Origins, a collection of the original three games, Sonic & Knuckles, plus Sonic CD.

While the teaser was short and did not contain much information, we do know that this game will be here in 2022, and will Be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and on PC
