SnowRunner Season 4 has just launched as Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive look to wrap up the first year of content for the ultimate off-road driving experience.
That's right, we said 'first' year. That's because the developers have now announced that the game will indeed feature a Year 2 pass packed with more content.
In fact, as well as launching Season 4: New Frontiers and bringing the game to Steam & Nintendo Switch, the year 2 pass is now on sale.

SnowRunner Year 2 Pass Release Date
The team at Saber Interactive has promised that the Year 2 Pass is "right around the corner".
However, they've just launched 16 square kilometers of rugged Russian wilderness in the form of the 'Season 4: New Frontiers'.
Given that the team at Saber will want to give fans have plenty of time to enjoy the glorious location of Amur Oblast, we suspect that Year 2 could still be a few months away.
The gap between 'Season 1: Search & Recover' and 'Season 2: Explore & Expand' was 5 months. But the gap between Season 2 and 'Season 3: Locate & Deliver' and then 'Season 4: New Frontiers' has been closer towards a 2-3 month gap.
As such we expect Season 5 to launch around August 2021, Season 6 around November/December 2021, Season 7 in February/March 2022 and then finally Season 8 in May/June 2022.
SnowRunner Year 2 Pass Content
As you might imagine, the Year 2 Pass for SnowRunner is packed with new content. If you enjoyed what the games first Year 1 Pass offered, we doubt you'll be disappointed.
For now, there is limited details on the specific seasons, but there is some details shared by the devs on what we can expect, including some info on new skins.
The four new seasons are called:
- Season 5 Build & Dispatch
- Season 6: Haul & Hustle
- Season 7: Compete & Conquer
- Season 8: New Expansion

SnowRunner Year 2 Pass Price
The Year 2 Pass will cost £20.99.
It's worth noting that although the Year 1 Pass was included with the sale of The Premium Edition of the game, the Year 2 Pass is not and will need to be purchased by all players, regardless of what edition of the main game you own.
