Maxis and the Sims team have been pumping out the content recently, and it isn't stopping any time soon. May's latest Sims Roadmap told us about two kits, and an unnamed game pack coming in June: which has now been revealed as the Sims 4 Werewolves!
Supernatural elements have been part of the Sims franchise since day one. Makin' Magic gave us pet dragons, Sims 2: Nightlife brought vampires, and Sims 3 gave us unicorns, robots and mummies. So where are all the mystical states in Sims 4? Sure, we've got the Realm of Magic and Vampires, but we want more. We want werewolves back!
Sims 4 Werewolves Release
On June 2, 2022, The Sims team revealed The Sims 4: Werewolves. They have dropped a trailer for it, which you can watch below. The expansion released on June 16.
The Sims 4 Werewolves Cheats
Two specific cheats have been unearthed for the Werewolf expansion:
- traits.equip_trait trait_occultwerewolf
- You can use this to immediately become a werewolf, complete with all abilities.
- traits.remove_trait trait_occultwerewolf
- This removes the werewolf effect from your Sim and returns them to normal.
The Sims 4 Werewolves - What Is The Pack
The new Game Pack adds a neighbourhood to the game, called Moonwood Mill. Here you'll find two prominent packs of werewolf Sims wandering around - the Moonwood Collective and Wildfangs. There's plenty of lore to unravel and secrets to discover about all the supernatural flavours of Sims, not just the werewolves!
You can customise your own werewolves with fur textures and colours, and of course, dress how you want using some fresh new grungy clothing. Your story is your own too - how did you become a wolf? Were you born into it or bitten? Where will your story lead?
There's temperaments and some new abilities for the werewolf Sims too, and these can be affected by the new moon phases added to the base game. Improve your howling, fighting, or try and become the leader of your pack with Sims 4 Werewolves.
