Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania Gets Rated In Brazil

It's been a while since we last saw an original Super Monkey Ball entry. While 2019's Banana Blitz HD remade a 2006 entry, there's not been an original non-mobile entry since 2012's Banana Splitz. However, thanks to a ratings board reveal, evidence is mounting that a sequel is finally coming.

Following on from an Australian classification two months ago, we've now had a second confirmation that Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania is in the works. This time around, that comes from Brazil's ratings board, giving it the same name.

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania Gets Rated In Brazil

Normally, a ratings board appearance means a game isn't far off releasing. While we can't glean too much more from this, it also states a multi-platform release is planned, launching for Switch, PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

With SEGA confirmed to be attending E3 2021, it feels inevitable that Banana Mania will appear at some point during the next few days. Whether that's during Nintendo's conference, Xbox's, or another place entirely is unknown, but we'll be keeping you updated as we learn more.
