Rare hasn't said much about it yet, but Sea of Thieves Fate of the Damned 2021 will likely set sail soon.Previous years saw the swashbuckling seafaring game lean heavily into its supernatural themes during October, and with the new Pirates of the Caribbean season underway, we'd be surprised if this year were any different.
In previous years, Sea of Thieves Fate of the Damned started right before Halloween - October 28 in 2020 - and runs for almost a month. We expect this year's event will start around the same time and last as long. October's nearly arrived and here's what we know so far:

When Does Sea of Thieves Fate of the Damned 2021 Start?
Whenever it starts, expect a two-part festival connected to the Bilge Rat Adventures. 2020's Festival of the Damned and a chance to earn event-exclusive cosmetics and titles. Normally, these events roll out over the course of the event, with new challenges and goals added each week.
With Jack Sparrow and co. now in the game, we're hoping Fate of the Damned 2021 has plenty of film flair and even more to do. We'll update when more information is released.
