Sea Of Thieves Celebrates 25 Million-Player Milestone


Sea of Thieves announced that they've reached 25 million players, following its release back in March 2018. Thanking the 25 million players through their official Twitter account, that included a statement by Sea of Thieves' Executive Producer, Joe Neate.

A part of Neate's statement reads as:

"The pirate ranks of the Sea of Thieves continue to swell, as we’re happy to announce that we’ve reached the auspicious milestone of 25 million players! With the introduction of Seasons earlier this year, and our epic crossover with Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean in Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life, we’ve seen a huge influx of players casting off for the first time and enjoying all the new features and content. We’re going to need a bigger boat…"

Sea Of Thieves Celebrates 25 Million-Player Milestone

As part of this celebration, Neate confirmed that anyone who plays the game between October 19th (3pm BST) and October 26th (3pm BST) will receive a special login bonus of 25,000 gold and 25 Doubloons. One player will be randomly picked to win a staggering 25 million gold.
