Which Difficulty Should You Choose in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story

Ruined King: A League of Legends Story released on 16th November with four varied difficulty levels for players to choose from. While each of these difficulties is a direct indication of the challenges that they will facing during the game, it is also important to understand which difficulty levels suits you as an individual.

This guide attempts to provide a much clear idea about the four difficulty levels available in Ruined King and how each of them offers a different type of challenge for the player.

All Difficulty Levels in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story

There are four difficulty levels available in Ruined King. These levels are:

  • Story
  • Normal
  • Veteran
  • Heroic

Story

Definitely the easiest difficulty level available in the game, story mode even allows players to skip combats while still earning experience and items from them. This mode is specifically targeted for players who wish to enjoy the story that the game has to potray.

Given that Ruined King features a story from the lore of League of Legends, a lot of players will be looking to play the game to simply learn more about their favorite champions. This mode is ideal for players who wish to skip past the troubles of turn-based combat and simply enjoy the story.

Normal

Although not too different from the Story difficulty level, the Normal level also features fairly simple gameplay. The enemies that pop up in this mode are quite simple to defeat and does not require much strategising.

Having said that, players who wish to enjoy the story while also learning about the mechanics of turn-based combat in video games should definitely opt for the Normal difficulty level. This will provide a much more enjoyable experience than simply skipping through every combat.

Veteran

Although not the toughest difficulty level available in the game, the Veteran mode is for players who have previous experience of turn-based combat games. Additionally, players will also need to strategise their moves as enemies will be much stronger than the previous modes.

This mode is ideal for gamers who are heavily into turn-based RPGs as anyone with little knowledge of this genre will definitely have a horrible experience on this difficulty level.

Heroic

The most difficult mode that the game has to offer, Heroic features almost unbeatable enemies and unpassable rounds. However, players who specialise in the genre of turn-based RPGs will definitely have a lot of fun playing Ruined King on this difficulty level.

Having said that, new players as well as those who do not have a lot of experience with turn-based RPGs are highly advised to not play the game on this level during their first run. A horrible experience on your first run can leave you wanting to never play the game again.
