Ability Upgrade Points are an extremely essential resource in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story and can only be obtained by levelling up champions to a specific levels. Each playable champion in the game features a skill tree with two possible choices at every level.

However, before heading any further, players should note that Ability Upgrade Points once allotted are not permanent. Apart from during combat, players can simply revert their upgrade and choose a different option. This feature allows players to prepare their specific set of abilities for differently abled enemies in specific combats.

Ability Upgrade Points Explained

The first time that players get to interact with Ability Upgrade Points is when Illaoi reaches level three. The champion receives an upgrade point that players can use to upgrade either one of the champion's basic abilities.

In order to use the Ability Upgrade Points, players will need to head over to the Character Menu and select the Inspect option for the champion who has unlocked an ability upgrade point. Inside the inspect menu, players can select which ability they wish to upgrade.

However, as already mentioned, allotted Ability Upgrade Points are not permanent and players are able to reallot the points anytime except during combats. Additionally, it is also important to note that Dungeon Upgrade Points and Ability Upgrade Points are two separate resources and neither can be substituted for the other.
