A Rocket League And James Bond Crossover Has Been Announced
Psyonix has revealed a collaboration with both MGM (Metro Goldwyn Mayer) and Aston Martin.
The San Diego studio will import 007's vintage vehicle, the Aston Martin DB5 into Rocket League.
Releasing ahead of Bond's next theatrical adventure in No Time To Die, the historic car will be available in the Item Shop for 1100 credits.
The DB5 will feature aspects harkening back to the supreme 1963 make, as it is glossed in the Silver Birch color well-associated with Bond's singular paint finish. The Aston Martin DB5 will also resemble its signature engine audio and wheels while also spouting a Reel Life Decal.
The DB5 marks the first of a multi-year collaboration between Aston Martin, Psyonix, and MGM as more content will come to the vehicular phenomenon in years to come. Could the green Jaguar XKR from Die Another Day make its way to Rocket League one day? We sure hope so.
The Aston Martin DB5 will be available in Rocket League on all platforms beginning July 29.
