Resident Evil 3: Remake – How to Drop Items

The first thing to consider when dropping an item is that you simply won't be able to recover anything dropped. That means dropping a key or keycard that you might need later on is risky business, and may ensure you have to return to the previous save.

With that in mind, if you really want to make room, simply enter your inventory (the tab next to the map) and select an item, and then the option to discard it. Just to reiterate, this can't be undone!

As you explore you'll stumble across items that expand your inventory, which certainly helps.
