Netflix’s Resident Evil Series Will Infect Audiences on July 14

Netflix has announced that the Resident Evil live-action series will be coming to the streaming service on July 14 and released three bloody posters to celebrate the occasion. The news comes a year after Netflix announced the cast of this live-action Resident Evil series, along with the premise.

For those unaware, Netflix’s Resident Evil series will follow Jade Wesker, the daughter of Albert Wesker, in the year 2036 as she fights for survival in a world overcome by the T-Virus. Albert Wesker is set to play a major role as well and there will be flashbacks to the past to see how it led to Jade’s frightening future.

Here’s the official synopsis of Netflix’s Resident Evil series:

“Year 2036 – 14 years after a deadly virus caused a global apocalypse, Jade Wesker fights for survival in a world overrun by the blood-thirsty infected and insane creatures. In this absolute carnage, Jade is haunted by her past in New Raccoon City, by her father’s chilling connections to the Umbrella Corporation but mostly by what happened to her sister, Billie.”

Resident Evil will be premiering on Netflix on July 14. The most recent instalment in the video games, Resident Evil Village, is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
