Resident Evil 7 Sales Pass Ten Million Worldwide


Capcom announced through a press release that as of today, Resident Evil 7 has shipped 10 million copies worldwide. A part of their statement reads as:

"Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that multi-platform title Resident Evil 7 biohazard has shipped over 10 million units worldwide.
Released in January 2017, Resident Evil 7 biohazard builds upon the series' roots of fear, exploration and tense atmosphere. The game's system underwent a dramatic shift from its previous third-person camera to a new first-person perspective in order to provide an overwhelming, deeply immersive horror experience, garnering high praise from major review sites and other media."

Resident Evil 7 Lists New Milestone Of Shipping 10 Million Copies Worldwide

As per Gaming Bolt, the last report following the game's latest milestone lists a massive amount of 9.8 million units shipped just last August 2021. With that, it shows that 200,000 units were sold in just a span of two months, making Resident Evil 7 one of Capcom's best-selling titles. - joining the likes of Monster Hunter Rise which was reported to have shipped 7.5 million copies last September 24th.
