How Does Auto-Saving Work

Resident Evil Village will autosave at certain points. You'll see a white/light blue circle icon in the top left of the screen when this happens, indicating that you have triggered a checkpoint and your game will be saved. If you die or quit the game, you will continue from this point, handy for boss fights and other tricky areas.

Typewriter Locations

To avoid spoiling later locations, we'll say that there is a typewriter in the church in the opening area. This is easily reachable and will likely be the one you use the most.
