Is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Coming To Xbox Series S/X & PC?

Is Ratchet & Clank coming to Xbox Series S/X & PC? With the release of the game just around the corner, players on other platforms have been clawing for news on if the game might end up travelling to other platforms in the future.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart Xbox Series S/X & PC release?

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is not coming to either platform in June, making it a PlayStation 5 exclusive title.

As for down the line, chances are you will never see the game make the jump to Xbox Series S/X as Sony tends to keep most of its exclusives tied to its console.

However, there is some chance that the game will launch on PC, though. A number of Sony's games are already out or on their way to PC, including Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone.

However, the games coming to PC are ones that released on PS4 a few years ago, so PC players probably won't get Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PC until at least 2023 at the earliest.

But, the game is being built with the PS5's SSD in mind and uses it to quickly transport players to new dimensions and worlds in the blink of an eye. This was previously impossible on standard hard drives.

So, this requirement for an SSD might stop Sony from publishing the game on PC, or at the very least limit the audience that will be able to play it, unless Insomniac manually adds load screens for those not playing on an SSD.
