Does Rainbow Six Extraction Have Cross-Play and Cross-Platform Support?

What once was a limited-time event in Rainbow Six Siege, known as Outbreak, can now be coined Rainbow Six Extraction. The new tactical PvE co-op shooter launches on January 20, 2022.

Dropping Siege's PvP nature and tasking Operators with taking on a new alien threat, it's the kind of experience that's begging to be played through with friends - but what if they're on other platforms?

Here's everything you need to know about crossplay in Rainbow Six Extraction.

Is Rainbow Six Extraction Crossplay or Cross-Platform?

Great news, team - you'll be able to play across different platforms from day one in Rainbow Six: Extraction. That means you can squad up across the following platforms:

  • PC
  • PlayStation 4
  • PlayStation 5
  • Stadia
  • Xbox One
  • Xbox Series S/X

If you can't decide which platform to play on, then there's good news there, too. Ubisoft has confirmed cross-progression and cross-save will be available on launch day, too!

As for Rainbow Six: Siege, cross-play is being rolled out in phases. For more on Rainbow Six Extraction to help you get started, we have some tips and tricks here, as well as some guidance as to who we think the best weapons and best Operators are.
