Nintendo Switch Release

As of now, Ubisoft has not confirmed a Rainbow Six Extraction release on Nintendo Switch. The only confirmed platforms for this new title is PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PC.

For now, Nintendo Switch owners will have to wait for a new announcement if Rainbow Six Extraction will be available on the platform.

If it does come to Nintendo Switch in the future, we imagine it will be a cloud game, as we have seen with Assassin's Creed Odyssey, CONTROL, Hitman 3 and more.

Ubisoft Titles On Nintendo

So far, Ubisoft hasn’t released a Rainbow Six title on the Nintendo Switch throughout the console’s lifecycle. Most Ubisoft titles on the Switch are Just Dance, Monopoly, the Mario and Rabbids spinoffs, and as mentioned, Assassin's Creed Odyssey via the cloud.

Rainbow Six Titles on Nintendo

Prior to the Nintendo Switch, Ubisoft wasn't shy about releasing Tom Clancy titles on its platforms. Older Nintendo platforms such as Gamecube and 3DS received some Rainbow Six entries.

As of now, Ubisoft’s most popular Rainbow Six entry, Rainbow Six Siege, is already an esport. The developers are focused more on growing the game on its current platforms. Ubisoft mostly focused on PlayStation and Xbox consoles when releasing this new title.

Potentially, the new Rainbow Six Extraction could be at home in Nintendo Switch due to the console’s focus on local multiplayer. Extraction’s focus on co-op gameplay could definitely be a good pick for the platform.

As of now, fans can only wait for more updates if Nintendo and Ubisoft are planning to put the upcoming Rainbow Six Extraction for the Nintendo Switch at all.
