Rumours are circulating that an August State of Play presentation is being planned by Sony. Marking what would be their fifth one this year, we've only just witnessed one last week for Deathloop, which arrives as a timed-exclusive on PS5 this September.

Jeff Grubb Claims Sony Will Host Next State Of Play Broadcast In September 2021 - July 30, 2021
Alongside news of a potential 2022 delay for Horizon Forbidden West, industry insider Jeff Grubb claims that Sony might announce this during a September State Of Play broadcast, though he's since clarified that this isn't a "sure thing".
Sony Event Rumoured For August 12, 2021 - July 17, 2021
Reddit user u/QuimSix has claimed that Sony is planning a PlayStation showcase on August 12. Allegedly, this will feature Grand Theft Auto V's "expanded and enhanced" version for PS5, saying this was pushed back from the July State Of Play. However, that remains unconfirmed at this time.

Right now, that's difficult to say. Though Sony set the precedent by offering deep dives into first-party games initially, Deathloop's presentation meant that third-party games aren't off the table, either.
