PS5 and Xbox Series X Good News, These Accessories Are Confirmed Compatible On Next-Gen

Recently Harmonix announced Rock Band 4 and everything included in the game will be compatible with next-gen consoles.

RB4 is similar to the better known Guitar Hero, the difference being there are more instruments to play with.

Take me back to 2015 jamming out with my brothers on Christmas.

Anyway, moving on, here's everything you need to know about next-gen compatibility for Rock Band 4!

Rock Band 4 Compatibility

According to Harmonix's blog post, Rock Band 4, including DLC, will work on launch.

Many diehard fans were worried as to whether the game would transition properly in November.

More good news, all save data from the cloud will be transferred to the next-gen console.

Otherwise, you can do a hard drive transfer too.

As well as all the brilliant stuff above the team has promised performance improvements, such as faster load times.

Worried about leaving a friend behind on previous gen?

Well lucky you, players will be able to rock out with their friends on PS4 even if they play on the PS5.

The update post was written by community manager Katey Farmanian, she explained in said post that the "team has been diligently testing a bunch of old gear on the new systems to make sure everything works exactly as it does today".
