The PS Now games for January 2022 have just been revealed, but if they didn't take your fancy, you might be wondering about what changes are coming next to Sony's subscription service.
For anyone who doesn't know, PS Now is a cloud-based gaming service that allows you to stream games on your PlayStation and even your PC. It wouldn't be wrong if we referred to the PS Now service as "Netflix of videogames" given the sheer number of gaming titles available on the platform, and more are always added. Every month, a fresh set of games are added (and removed) from the services games list, which currently includes hundreds of PS4, PS3, and PS2 games, ready to play on demand.

Sony has announced the PlayStation Now games available in February 2022. Here's a quick overview:
"Enter the criminal underworld of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - The Definitive Edition, play a tycoon in Little Big Workshop, take part in the resistance in Through the Darkest of Times and solve puzzles in Death Squared."
Do note, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition is only available until Monday, May 2. So be sure to make the most of the game before it leaves the service in a couple of months' time.

It appears that the GTA Vice City: Definitive Edition is set to replace Grand Theft Auto III: Definitive Edition. There have been numerous images posted across Reddit and Twitter which appear to show an advert for the game coming to the service. Based on the 'leaked' advert, GTA Vice City: Definitive Edition will be available until 2nd May, 2022. At which point we're willing to bet it will be replaced by GTA San Andreas: Definitive Edition.

We've updated our list of games set to leave PlayStation Now at the end of January 2022. In addition to the Grand Theft Auto III: The Definitive Edition, we also have four more games set to go. This includes Ghostrunner, Hotline Miami 2 Wrong Number, Totally Reliable Delivery Service, and Undertale.

According to a new report from GamesBeat's Jeff Grubb, Sony Is quietly pulling PS Now cards from sale in UK retailers. GamesBeat received a copy of an internal directive from GAME where management said: "Stores have until the close of day Wednesday 19, January to remove all POS and ESD cards from all customer-facing areas and update their digital bays in line with this week’s upcoming commercial update."
It's suggested that this latest move could be part of a larger plan from Sony to shelve PS Now in favor of a more robust, tiered subscription service which can rival Xbox Game Pass.
PS Now February 2022 Release Date
Typically PS Now games change over on the first Tuesday of the month. In the case of February 2022, we can therefore likely expect the next big PS Now changes to take on February 1.
PS Now February 2022 Predictions
Like PS Plus and Games with Gold it's very difficult to predict what games get added to the PS Now games list. However, there's a slim chance that we might be seeing another game from the GTA Trilogy join the PS Now service in February 2022.
The GTA III Definitive Edition was added to the PS Now games list in December, but will be removed on Monday, January 31. If we was the type to place a bet, we'd suggest that the GTA Vice City Definitive Edition or GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition could be decent contenders to join the service next.
However, we should say, this is all just speculation and we could easily be wrong. We could be wrong. We'll be updating this list as and when we have more information about the free games that make it to the PS Now January 2022 list.
Confirmed PS Now February 2022 Changes
As mentioned, we already know of one game that will be removed from the service in February 2022. However, it's not the only game leaving the service. Here's everything leaving PlayStation Now at the end of January 2022.
