3D Audio is one of of the Playstation 5’s biggest and best new features!

The system is able to give you a surround sound experience, using inbuilt technology and your headset or headphones.

So if you want to become immersed in some of gaming’s best hits, here’s our guide.

Step 1- Grab your headphones or headset and connect them to you PS5.

This can be done by either plugging them into your controller or connecting them via Bluetooth.

Step 2 - Once this is sorted, log in to your account.

Step 3 - Head over to settings.

Step 4 - Now go to Sound and subsequently Audio Output.

Step 5 - Here you can change the output option from your TV speakers (or whatever device it was previously) to your headphones.

Step 6 - With the Headphones settings now unlocked, here you can adjust the audio settings.

Step 7 - If 3D audio doesn’t turn on automatically, use the slider to switch it on!

And there you have it! Now you should be able to enjoy 3D audio and get lost in the virtual worlds on your PS5!
