Guilty Gear Strive Is Getting Crossplay

The game's developer, Arc System Works (ASW) confirmed cross-play reports between PlayStation consoles and PC in an interview with the site.

Of course, we are always striving to accomplish this, and we are going through the verification processes for it.

However, ASW did highlight that it will take time for cross-play to come to the hit fighting game:

But there are still many practical issues like schedules and the running costs of matching servers. It will take a little more time before we can make a concrete announcement.

Based on these statements, crossplay could still be some way off, but it's good to know that it's possible.

While crossplay is becoming more and more common, it's still not as prevalent as many gamers would like. Last month, Gearbox's Randy Pitchford tweeted that Borderlands 3's crossplay update is ready, but that support had to be removed for PlayStation consoles.
