Christmas is coming, but that means New Year won't be far behind – and a new month brings new PS Plus games.
PS4 and PS5 owners can enjoy free games each month, with Sony offering two next-gen games in a row.
This month players can enjoy Rocket Arena and Just Cause 4 on PS4, while Worms Rumble is also available for both systems.
When will PS Plus January 2021 free games be confirmed?
We imagine that most Sony PlayStation fans will know how this works, however, for the sake of anyone who might be new to the PlayStation ecosystem, here's a quick explainer.
Traditionally PS Plus games have always been announced on the last Wednesday of the month at 4.30 pm on the dot.
The announced titles then become available to download from the PSN store on the first Tuesday of the month.
Some months this means the games arrive a bit earlier. But some months, it means there's a slightly longer wait than normal.
Due to the way the days have fallen in the month, Sony will likely announce the PS Plus January 2020 free games lineup on Wednesday, December 30th.
At that point, the games should become available to download on the first Tuesday of the month from the PSN store. Meaning the new December PS Plus games go live on 5th January 2021.
