Predator Hunting Grounds Update 10: Release Date, Leaks And Everything You Need To Know

You could argue that Predator Hunting Grounds hasn't exactly set the world alight. It's certainly not reached the heights of other asymmetric online multiplayer game like Dead By Daylight.

But to give illfonic their dues, they have supported the game admirably and have continued to deliver on some new content every few months.

In June the game gave us a new paid DLC which added Isabelle from the movie Predators along with her NRV-E Sniper Rifle. As for the 'free DLC' portion of the June update, fans got another map: Headquarters.

So what's coming next? Well based on the roadmap image shared from developers, there's plenty. Here's everything you need to know.

There's some rumours going round that the PS Plus September games lineup has leaked. And supposedly, PS4 fans will be able to grab Hitman 2 and Predator: Hunting Grounds.

This is unconfirmed for now, but the source (Via PushSquare) is from the French site Dealabs, who have a decent track record for these sorts of leaks in the past.

It's also worth noting, the games should be revealed on September 1st, incidentally when Illfonic is holding their livestream. Interesting. More to follow...

Predator Hunting Grounds Update 10 Release Date

Unlike seasonal events in videogames, DLC updates are prone to all sorts of different release dates. However, illfonic are fairly regular when it comes to sprinting towards the next release on their content roadmap.

Here's a quick look at when the games previous DLC drops have arrived:

• Update 9 released June 29, 2021
• Update 8 released April 29, 2021
• Update 7 released December 8, 2020
• Update 6 released October 27, 2020
• Update 5 released September 29, 2020

As we can see, the game has historically released content at the end of the month.

The only acception has been Update 7 in December 2020, which was likely brought forward to allow the staff to enjoy the holidays.

Assuming the next DLC follows roughly the same pattern we can likely expect to see Update 10 launch around the end of August 2021. So it could arrive as early as August 24, but more likely Thursday 26 August or Tuesday 31 August.

Predator Hunting Grounds Update 10 Leaks

The next update will at long last introduce a new predator to the game.

Back in February earlier this year, a PlayStation blog post told fans that the best way to learn what was coming next was to listen to the games 'Dutch Tapes'. Here's the extract in question:

The June update may have finally confirmed what predator is coming to the game next, as there's a reference to a Predator called Cleopatra, which has also appeared in previous datamining. Have a listen to the below:

It's still unclear what to expect from this new Predator, but the name might suggest something themed on the Egyptians.
