The Crown Tundra: How To Get Your Pokemon To Follow You In Pokemon Sword And Shield

The Crown Tundra, the second expansion for Pokemon Sword and Shield, is out today.

One of the more fun new additions are Pokemon followers, meaning you can show off your best bud while roaming the DLC region.

Here's how to get Pokemon to follow you.

How to get Pokemon Followers in Isle of Armor DLC

You'll need to complete the first three trials in the expansion first to unlock the option.

After that, it's simple: Just head into your Pokemon menu and select the Pokemon you want to follow you and move it to the top of your party.

You can only enable followers in the Isle of Armor, so don't expect to run through the Galar region with your Pokemon behind you.

What's really fun is the variety of following animations the Pokemon have. Slowpoke, for example, is as slow as you'd imagine.

Just as Pokemon have new follow animations, Wild Area Pokemon have new chasing ones. Be sure to keep an eye out for them!
