Pokemon Anime Gives First Look At Isle of Armor DLC

Pokemon Sword and Shield's upcoming expansions, Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra, might be some way off yet, but the franchise's popular anime might have just teased some information about the Isle of Armor.

Pokemon: Twilight Wings, a new animated short, looks at what happens when a gym leader loses – something we've come to accept as part of our own character's rise to prominence in each game but that hasn't been explored in any real depth before.

Gym leader Bea from Pokemon Sword loses to Leon, the champion of the Galar region and goes on a sort-of sabbatical from looking after her fighting-type gym.

As good as the short is, one of the coolest parts is that Bea looks to end up on the Isle of Armor at the end – as spotted by Twitter user @TAHK0.

Could Bea be back in the expansion? We'll have to wait until June to find out, but expect plenty more teases as part of the series' tie-in content.
