Throwback Challenge Celebration Ticket - 28th May

If you missed any of the previous challenges, have no fear, because you can purchase a ticket in the shop that will grant you extra bonuses.

Completing the challenges or buying the ticket will net you these rewards:

• Encounters with Galarian Meowth and Galarian Stunfisk! This will be their first appearance in Pokémon GO.
• Research tasks that lead to encounters with Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region, such as Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Blitzle, Audino, Darumaka, Gothita, and Genesect.
• A chance to earn exciting rewards, including Professor Willow’s glasses as an exclusive avatar item!

The ticket will cost $7.99 and won't be able to be purchased with Pokecoins.

Tickets go live Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 1:00 p.m and will last until Monday, June 8, 2020, at 1:00 p.m.

The official announcement for the challenge has now gone live and the dates have been confirmed for the 3rd June until the 8th June.

Throwback Challenge Champion 2020 Bonuses

How Do I Get The Throwback Challenge Champion 2020 Special Research

You will need to have completed all four Throwback Challenge timed research quest lines (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh).

If you have completed these already, you will be granted access. If you haven't, you will need to buy a ticket from the shop and complete the tasks.

If you completed the challenges but want to buy a Challenge Celebration ticket, you will have access to both quest lines, Challenge Champion and Challenge Celebration (special version).

Each time you would’ve earned a reward encounter with a Pokémon, you instead will earn 10 Candies for that specific Pokémon and earn Stardust instead of Professor Willow’s glasses.

• Catch 15 Pokemon - 1 Incense
• Transfer 15 Pokemon - 30 Ultra Balls

Rewards: 500 Stardust, Gothita Encounter and 500 XP

• Evolve 5 Pokemon - 5 Rare Candy
• Hatch 15 Eggs - Oshawott encounter
