Pokemon Diamond and Pearl could be getting a remake thanks to merchandise information leaks. This comes off the back of the most recent announcement about a Pokemon Direct, so soon after we received Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Many Generation 4 products have begun reproduction to be released as soon as December 2019, sparking a lot of notions that a Diamond and Pearl remake is on the cards

Announcement This Week?
A tweet posted by @DPPt_Shitpost has stirred the pot with the generation four remake community. Take the following information with a grain of salt, as we never know what to trust!
However, the tweet claims that this week at the next Pokemon Presents; they will end the show with a teaser trailer of Diamond and Pearl remakes.
According to the tweet, they will be called "Timeless Diamond" and "Spaceless Pearl" and will release in 20201!
This has led many to speculate that this is a calculated move by the Pokemon Company to build up interest before announcing a remake.
This isn’t the first time the company has ramped up production before an announcement, Kanto region merchandise was announced back in early 2017 in the lead up to Pokemon Go’s release.
Remakes aren’t unheard of when it comes to Pokemon.
They have already released FireRed and LeafGreen in 2004, HeartGold and SoulSilver in 2009 and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire in 2014. With a remake coming out every five years, we’re already past the usual window but it would be wise to expect an announcement towards the end of the year.
Paul Ryan, the owner of Pokeshopper, has confirmed the accuracy of these leaks.
“Many re-releases of Gen 4 merchandise to appear in 2020 calendar. Darkrai, Dialga, Palkia, Arceus specifically added. Releases begin as early as December 2019.”
