The free-to-play puzzle game Pokémon Café Mix is celebrating a recent milestone: the game’s now been downloaded five million times.
It’s a fairly simple game — kids love it — but few are immune to its painterly, coffee-shop charms. You essentially work alongside a barista named Leah, solving puzzles to make drinks and hanging out with adorable Pokémon.
Between now and August 29 at 10:59 p.m. Pacific, players who log into Café Mix will receive some free items:
- 5,000 golden acorns
- Six Whistle “puzzle powers”
“Grookey will also appear as a special customer from August 11, 2020, to August 25,” the brand announced in a press email.
“In addition to Grookey’s limited-time appearance, players can also expect to see other Pokémon stopping by their café.”
The game is available on Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
