Pokémon Unite - Best All-Rounders

Pokémon Unite is the franchise’s first foray into MOBA territory, and if it’s your first entry into the genre, too, All-Rounder Pokémon are the best place to start. As the name suggests, these Pokémon have decent stats in all areas and are pretty forgiving to play. However, not all Pokémon are created equal, so you’ll be wanting to pick Pokémon Unite’s best All-Rounder, rather than one of the lower-tier options.

What Is a Pokémon Unite All-Rounder Pokémon?

All-Rounders can do pretty much anything in Pokémon Unite, other than supporting. The best Supporters in Pokémon Unite fill such a specific niche that no other Pokémon can fulfill, so it might be more accurate to say that All-Rounders offer a balance between attack and defense.

Start off by learning how to unlock Pokémon in Pokémon Unite, and make sure you’ve read up on the various Pokémon Unite currencies so you know exactly which coins and tickets to horde, and then head to the shop to splash some cash on new monsters – or outfits for them.

Pokémon Unite Best All-Rounders

All-Rounders are not only great Pokémon to learn the ropes in Pokémon Unite, but they also comprise of a bunch of fan-favourite monsters.

A-Tier

Garchomp

Passive
Level 1
Level 6
Level 8
Unite Move
Rough Skin
Sand Attack
Dig
Earthquake
Livid Outrage
Bulldoze
Dragon Rush
Dragon Claw

Garchomp is comfortably the best All-Rounder in Pokémon Unite, in our humble opinion. None of the Pokémon from this role would reach S-tier in our list of the best Pokémon in Pokémon Unite, but the land-shark comes closest.

Between its perfectly balanced offense and endurance statistics and its reasonable scoring abilities, Garchomp is the best option for any new player. It does evolve at Level 10, one level higher than most other two-stage evolutions, but the wait is worth it, especially as it also learns Livid Outrage at this level. Garchomp can use this to counter Talonflame (which is notoriously difficult to beat) by knocking it out of the air, stunning it, and leaving it vulnerable.

Lucario

Passive
Level 1
Level 5
Level 7
Unite Move
Steadfast
Quick Attack
Extreme Speed
Bone Rush
Aura Cannon
Meteor Mash
Power-Up Punch
Close Combat

Lucario is the All-Rounder with the best mobility. It doesn’t match up to the best Pokémon Unite Speedsters, but it’s a fair whack more mobile than the other options in this role. However, its endurance suffers because of this, so make sure you’re careful not to overextend and get knocked out.

Be warned, however, as Lucario is the most difficult All-Rounder to master. This does mean it has a high skill ceiling, but it is not the easiest Pokémon to use off the bat.

B-Tier

Charizard

Passive
Level 1
Level 5
Level 7
Unite Move
Blaze
Flame Burst
Flamethrower
Fire Blast
Seismic Slam
Fire Spin
Fire Punch
Flare Blitz

Charizard can be a useful pick in Pokémon Unite, and we expect to see a lot of them take to the four Pokémon Unite maps early doors, largely due to the Fire-type's popularity. However, its Fire-type attacks can burn unwary enemies to great effect.

It’s best to communicate with your Supporters, as Charizard is more likely to land a critical hit if it is beneath half HP, so you don’t want to get healed up to 51% at an inopportune moment.

C-Tier

Machamp

Passive
Level 1
Level 5
Level 7
Unite Move
Guts
Karate Chop
Dynamic Punch
Close Combat
Barrage Blow
Bulk Up
Submission
Cross Chop

Unfortunately, one Pokémon has to be at the bottom of the pile and for All-Rounders, it’s Machamp. It is really offensive, even for an All-Rounder, but this comes at the expense of its endurance. There’s not a lot of point in picking Machamp when the best Speedsters in Pokémon Unite fill the offensive role better with a boost of movement, and the best Attackers take things to another level entirely.

That’s everything you need to know about the best All-Rounders in Pokémon Unite – now pick your monster and hit the field.
