How to Link a Pokémon Unite Account to Mobile

A Pokémon Unite mobile release is right around the corner. In fact, if you're reading this, it's probably already out. But the reason why you're here is clear: you need to know how to link a Pokémon Unite account to mobile. If you've been playing the game extensively on Nintendo Switch, carrying that progress over to an even more mobile machine makes sense. Given the matchmaking pool is linked, starting fresh won't see you smurf the Quickplay queue. So, here's how to carry on.

Before queueing for another match, though, why not brush up on your in-game knowledge? If you've taken a break leading up to the mobile release, you may want a refresher course on things like Battle Items, Held Items, and how you could grab some free Aeos Tickets just for having played on Nintendo Switch through the Free Zeraora event.

  • Download Pokémon Unite on your mobile platform of choice from its included App store.
  • Launch the game and wait for it to patch.
  • Log into the game using the same Nintendo Account used on your Nintendo Switch.
  • That's it!

If Pokémon Unite Mobile isn't your first Aeos Island rodeo, you'll want to link your Nintendo Switch account to your mobile platform of choice as soon as you can. Not only will this let you bring all of your previously unlocked Pokémon onto an even smaller system, but everything from your Friend List to your match stats will carry over as well.

This doesn't delete anything from your original account, either. In fact, they're one and the same. Pokémon Unite Mobile doesn't use a separate account system. You use the same account regardless of platform. So not only can you pick up where you left off should you prefer to keep your Nintendo Switch at home, but anyone getting started with Pokémon Unite on mobile are free to log into their account on a Nintendo Switch down the line as well.

Lucky, it really is as simple as using your Nintendo login when you're asked to sign into Pokémon Unite on your phone. As that's what the account your Nintendo Switch version uses is linked to, that's all you need to do. Good luck on the battlefield!
